School Hours:
8:00 to 3:10 for grades K-5
No students are allowed inside the building before 7:30 a.m.

When arriving to school before 7:50 a.m., students should report to the following locations:
Kindergarten and Third Grade- Library
First Grade and Fourth Grade- Cafeteria
Second Grade and Fifth Grade- Gym

Dress Code:
Red/White/Navy/Khaki Standardized Dress
Fridays are casual dress according to the GISD dress code.

As Fall and Winter approaches and students are needing to wear jackets or sweaters inside the building, please remember all jackets or sweaters are to be red, white, or navy with no logos or graphics of any kind.

On certain designated days, students are allowed to wear blue jeans only if they are wearing a Back Spirit shirt. These can be purchased in the front office.

Back Elementary is a recycling school. Please send empty ink cartridges or toner cartridges, used cell phones, PDAs, laptops, small electronic games, game cartridges, newspapers, and aluminum cans to school with your child.
