| The Hudson Library Media Center's most important function is to support the school's curriculum and to provide interesting and entertaining books for both students and faculty. To achieve these services the library maintains a basic reference section, biography collection as well as nonfiction and a large fiction collection. Many of the books in the collection are Accelerated Reader books, especially the fiction section. We are proud to have over 12,500 titles available for student check out. |

| Visiting the Library |
| Students are welcome to check out books before or after school and anytime during the day when they come as a class or with a pass from their teacher. |

| Checking Out a Book |
| Students are allowed to check out 2 items at a time. Books are checked out for 3 weeks, and can be renewed 2 times. The date the book is to be returned will be stamped on the front of the book with a date due sticker. |

| Fines |
| A fine of 10 cent per day (excluding weekends and holidays) per book is charged on overdue books. The maximum charged is $2.00. |

| Printing Costs |
| Black and white copies from the copier or the printer are 10 cents for each page. Color copies are 25 cents per page. |
