If you are eligible to attend the Library Book Club field trip on May 16, you must get a permission form from the library and turn it in by Tuesday, May 13, to be on the list to attend the field trip. The first annual End-of-the-Season pizza party for the Bowling Team will be held on Friday, May 9, at Cici’s Pizza at the corner of Highway 66 and Rowlett Road. The party begins at 6PM. Don’t miss it –plus it’s FREE. See Mr. Norvell in Room 1500 for more details. Are you interested in being on TV? Then come audition for the new hit television show “The Way I See It”. This show gives a voice to teens just like you and proves that life is full of surprises. Auditions will be held in the Little Theater on May 27 at 3:30 p.m. Please be sure to bring a head shot or recent picture of yourself. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Kemp in the Light Office. Time is running out to register for the RHS trip to Washington DC for the 2009 Inauguration. See Mr. Hatch in room 2116 for more information. All Track girls should return all track equipment to either Coach Young or Coach Floyd. Anyone not returning equipment will be placed on the fines list. The annual Spring Football Game will be held at HBJ on May 22. The cost will be $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for students. In addition to the football game, the annual Powder Puff game (Junior vs. Senior girls) is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and the new Varsity Cheerleaders and SRD Officers will be presented. Mark your calendars and plan to be at HBJ on Thursday afternoon, May 22, for some great football. Join Choir for next year! Stop by the choir room at the end of the Fine Arts hallway and visit with the choir directors, Mrs. Lewis or Mrs. Thornton, April 28 - May 16. The Lady Eagles Sports Camp is currently enrolling 3rd-9th grade girls for summer sports camp in Volleyball and/or Basketball. If you were in Mrs. Wilkinson's class or Mrs. Hamidou's Art B class and would like your sea creature back, please stop by Room 1104 or 1102. Anyone interested can meet with Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Thursday mornings before school in the auditorium. There will be singing and worship. Bring a friend. The 2nd Thursday of each month is CiCi's Pizza night. Go and support Soccer. Eat in or take out, just tell the cashier that you want your order to be credited to RHS Soccer.
