Purpose

Promote each individual at Rowlett High School. Promote each favorable student- faculty relations. Provide a forum for student opinions. Promote a thoughtful respect for law and order and the general welfare of the school and community. Carry on an effective program of service to school and community. Inspire leadership abilities in the school student body. To create and maintain school interest, school spirit and loyalty.

The Election of Officers

The Student Council officers shall be elected on a specified date set by the President and Sponsor with the approval on the Principal. Each officer shall be elected by a majority vote of the total votes cast for the office by the entire student body. If no candidate for an office receives a majority of votes, a run-off election shall be held between the two candidates with the greatest number of votes.
