In other words, if you have three excused absences you must have an "A" average to use your exemption card for that term.
New for 2006 - 2007, regarding exemptions:
- Students are responsible for giving their exemption cards to their teachers. If they forget their cards at home, they will have to take their final exams. Once again, it is the students' responsibility to get the exemption cards to the teachers, not the parents. We will not accept cards from the parents if they bring these up to the office.
- Students must turn in their textbook to their teacher BEFORE the day of final exams. This is one of the requirements. If the students forget to bring their book to turn in, they will have to take their final exams. It is the students' responsibility to get the book turned in, not the parents. If the parents bring this up, we will take the book, but the students will have to take their final exam.
- Being exempt is a privilege and not a right. The students must be responsible for following all of the procedures. Students will rise to the expectations if they know the consequence for not following them. If students do not follow all of the procedures, they will have to take their exams.
Parents we appreciate your cooperation in helping our students to be responsible in this process.
