Home of the Texas Champions - Coyle Band has received the prestigious honor of being recognized as a Commended Band by the National Wind Band Honors Competition. In past years, Coyle performed several times at the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sixteen high school bands from across the nation were invited and only one middle school band.

“Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou?” Want to be a star? Join theater club to participate in the annual school play, and see what goes on “behind the scenes” like working on sets, costumes, lighting, sound, and makeup. Many former students go on to perform in High School theater and productions.

Choir

Choir Director: Natalie Hiler

The Cougar Choirs is directed by Natalie Hiler. There is a place for everyone in choir, from 6th grade to Varsity A Cappella! Choir is a chance to sing with new friends, work hard to earn trophies both as a group or individually, and have fun! We have concerts, competitions, social events such as singing at the Allen Americans Hockey Game, and reward trips for our eligible students.

Be a Garland ISD VIP
