My name is Miss Zander, and this is my 12^th year teaching, my 9^th year teaching art, and my experience ranges from elementary to college level.  I am excited to be a part of the amazing environment that is Handley Elementary.

Panther Pride, It’s Inside!

Things will be a little bit different in the art studio this year. Scholars will still have choice within their projects while also covering all required elements of knowledge and skills within the Art TEKS.  We will be working on listening, following directions, creative expression, and building our abilities as artists.  We will integrate cross curricular elements throughout our art and build connections to the way art is used in everyday life.

My name is Mrs. Shindle and I am the music teacher at Handley STEM Elementary School. This is my 18^th year of teaching elementary music and I couldn’t be more excited to spend this year with the students and families at Handley.  In music, we will work hard to become musically literate through singing, moving, and playing instruments.  Most importantly, we will foster a LOVE of music.  In music we agree to show respect and good manners at all times.  We also agree to care for everyone and everything.  Let’s work together to have a great year in music!

• Three strikes equal one mark.
• Three marks equal one behavior report.
• Three behavior reports equal an office referral.
