Attendance. Seniors, you must clear all absences by May 16 for exemption purposes.The deadline for all other classes is Wednesday, May 21. No exceptions! Everyone should check their attendance record.

The last day to accept checks as payment for food service is Tuesday, May 13. We will continue to accept money orders, cash, and payment through paypams.

Yearbooks will be available on Tuesday May 13 and Thursday May 15 from 11:15-12:15 only. Students who owe a balance need to bring exact change or money order. Students must bring a picture ID to pick up their yearbook.

Tuesday Tutors. Do you need help with your school work? Go to room 119 on Tuesdays. Friendly Naaman Rangers are there to answer your questions until 3:15.

 

Club Announcements

Speech/Debate and Thespian Members. The end of the year banquet is May 13. Tickets are $20.

FFA. We will be having our last FFA meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 13 at 6pm in room 330. Join us for the power point of pictures from this school year, officer elections, award presentations, senior goodbyes, and much more. It is definitely the meeting you do not want to miss.

Business Club meeting Wednesday morning at 7:00 am in room 409.

Beta Club meeting Wednesday after school in room 223.

Latin club members. The final meeting is in room 115 at 2:35 on Wednesday. We will be electing officers for next school year and discussing the party. Please be prompt.

FCA meets on Friday morning in the Home Economics lounge in the 300 hall. Meeting time is 6:45. We will have donuts, juice, and a student led Bible study.

STuCo Seniors who would like a chord for graduation, see Ms Terzis in room 437 before Friday.

 

Class Announcements

Seniors: You need to go by the registrar's office to sign up for final transcripts. Colleges and Universities require a final transcript which shows your graduation date and final averages. Transcripts will be mailed during the summer.

Caps and gowns will be distributed on Monday, May 19 during lunch in the commons area.

Summer Announcements

The city of Garland is hosting the Summer Aquatics Pre Hire sessions for processing summer employment paperwork. Applicants that apply for a lifeguard or swim program position will turn in all completed pre-employment paperwork on May 3 or June 14. For more information, see Mrs. Jones in the counseling office.

Summer School

Summer School will be at Lakeview Centennial HS and North Garland HS. Classes are Monday - Thursday.
First Semester: June 17 - July 3
Second Semester July 7 - July 23

Registration is at Naaman on June 12 from 8:30 - 3:30. There is a late registration at the summer school site on June 17 from 8:30 - 11:00.

All seniors 2009 must be photographed by Prestige Portraits by Monday, September 29 to be included in the senior section of the yearbook.
