The NFHS Library's most important function is to support the school's curriculum; a secondary function is to provide leisure reading for both the students and the faculty. To help achieve these services, the library maintains a basic reference, fiction, nonfiction, and biography collection and subscribes to the daily newspaper and to a large number of magazines.
Encouraging young people to develop an interest in reading, research, and learning is the library's most important goal.
The library is open Monday through Thursday from 6:45 AM -3:15 PM and Friday from 6:45 AM -2:30 PM.
Students may also come during their lunches without a pass.
Students must enter the library at the beginning of their lunch period!
All students must sign in upon entering the library and sign out when leaving the library. Passes will be stamped in the time to verify the students' times of arrival and departure.
