Giddens-Steadham Elementary School recognizes that a child’s education is a responsibility shared by the school and family during the entire period the child spends in school. Teaching students about being safe on the Internet is an important part of the 21st century classroom. GISD has put together an online course with materials and video to support this instruction.
Parents can also access these materials to support their own discussions with their children about cybersafety.

Home and School Used Programs
Study Island is available for 3rd through 5th grade students in many subject areas. Students may access this program at home as well as at school. Contact the teacher/librarian for login information.
