GM Hawks are Soaring with Accelerated Reader!
Has your child come home excited about the total number of words they've read? This year our students are participating in an Accelerated Reader (AR) challenge and our Hawk's are soaring towards reading success!
AR is used by our teachers to help students set reading goals, monitor reading growth and comprehension, and help guide students with their independent reading. Parents Guide to AR You can view your child's AR history such as goals met, books chosen, quiz scores, etc. from home.
Be a GM Volunteer!
There are many ways to get involved in your child’s education and one of the best ways is to become a GM volunteer. Our teachers and staff need help with chaperoning field trips, fundraising, PTA activities, reading to students, etc. Whether you can share one hour or one hundred hours of your time, we certainly have a spot for you at our campus. Please visit the Be a Volunteer page to print out volunteer forms in English or Spanish. These forms will need to be turned into the front office in person. If you have questions about volunteering or need more information please call our front office. Thank you for your support; together we can truly make a difference!
