Home of the Rangers!
Every week here at Hickman we participate in something called Mission Monday. The goal of our weekly mission is to challenge our staff, students and families to reach out to others. Make sure you check back weekly as the missions will change.
Tuesday December 9th, 2014 Hickman will have our annual All-School Movement Program at the Curtis Culwell Center. The program will begin at 7:00pm and last about one hour. Student participating in the program will need to report to the Curtis Culwell Center at 6:15pm. Parents please plan on staying with your child for the entire program to support all Hickman students.
There will be no tutoring Wednesday December 17th or Thursday December 18th 2014.
We will have early dismissal on December 19th, 2014 @1:15pm.
All Pre-K students (AM and PM) will attend the morning class from 8:00am-10:55am
Winter Break No School-December 22nd-January 5th. Student's will return to school on January 6th 2015.
Calling all Volunteers... We Need YOU!
Become a Hickman Ranger Volunteer for the 2014-2015 school year! Whether you can donate one hour or one-hundred hours, we have a spot for you! However, for the safety of our students, all volunteers are required to fill out a volunteer form and a background check from every year before volunteering.
Please visit the school office to complete these forms. You will need to bring a state issued identification card or driver's license to complete the process.
Parents do you want to be involved! Here at Hickman we have many ways you can be more involved at school. Here are some of the things you can do to help out:
- *Help during book fair
- *Help a classroom teacher
- *Make copies
- *Help in the library
- *Read a book to a class
- *Help during dismissal
- *Be a crosswalk guard
- *Volunteer your time to set up for special programs/events
Any and all help is appreciated here at Hickman. We love seeing our parents and volunteer’s work in and around our school campus. If you would like to help and are not able to help during the school day contact your child’s teacher and find out ways you can help out.
