Teacher of the Year
|Julie Riland was selected as Keeley's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2013-14 school year. Mrs. Riland has served as the school's librarian for the last seven years and has consistently made herself an indispensable member of the Keeley staff. Most parents probably know Mrs. Riland because of her phenomenal AR parties, but the teachers know her as a tremendous resource person for book selections, learning materials, technology integration, and the Accelerated Reading Program. She is a vital team player on the campus, and always provides support in a positive manner to students and teachers. Mrs. Riland is also an active member of the Keeley PTA Executive Board and never fails to volunteer when extra work needs to be done. It is a pleasure to have Mrs. Riland represent Keeley as the "Teacher of the Year" because she exemplifies all of the qualities that a parent, student or teacher would desire in a school employee. Her impact is truly school wide.
Student Accident Insurance
Student insurance is made available through the company "Student Insurance Plans" for accidents This company provides coverage for "school time" protection or "24-hour" protection. If you are interested, the District website has more information.
