Checkout Procedures
Every student has opportunity to check out library books on a specific scheduled day with their class, and anytime throughout the day from 8:00-3:00, with teacher permission.
Scheduled check out days by grade level are as follows:
KINDER: one book every week.
1st grade: one book every week.
2nd grade: two books every week.
3rd grade: two books every week.
4th grade: two books every other week.
5th grade: two books every other week.
Books should be returned after one week for first and second graders, and after two weeks for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Although no fines are charged for overdue books, a "late" book must be returned before a new book can be checked out.
