WGA Welcomes Our New Assistant Principal!

Tyisha Nelson

Mrs. Nelson was recently named our new assistant principal. She has just completed her tenth year in education! She taught special education in her hometown of Greenville, Texas. Since she has joined Garland ISD, she has taught 4th grade, served as an elementary support specialist and diagnostician. Come out and meet her at the Back-to-School/Meet the Teacher and Staff on August 19.

Meet the Teacher and Staff

Come out and meet your teachers and school staff for the upcoming school year on Thursday, August 19 from 6:00 - 7:30pm.

Teachers will be in their classrooms from 6:00 - 7:00pm only.

If you prepurchased school supplies, they will be with your homeroom teacher.
