Principal - Lisa Alexander
I was born in Springfield, Missouri while my father was attending college. After his graduation we moved back to Garland where my parents were from. I attended school in Garland at Bullock Elementary, Jackson Middle School and North Garland high school. I went to college and received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at The University of North Texas and a Master's degree in Educational Administration. I taught Kindergarten and Fourth grades at Spring Creek Elementary in GISD before becoming an Assistant Principal at Rowlett Elementary and then a Principal at Cooper and Rowlett Elementary.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for thirty years. We have a daughter, Jordan and a son Chase. Jordan graduated from Texas State University and is employed with GISD and my son is a recent graduate at Texas A&M and works for Cintas in the Woodlands. During my free time I enjoy reading, shopping, gardening and spending time at our lake house at Cedar Creek Lake. I am excited about leading our school into many exciting endeavors over the next few years!
