Beginning Wednesday, October
21, 2009, all eastbound President George Bush Turnpike traffic going
north or south onto State Highway (SH) 78 will have to use the same
exit ramp. The northbound traffic will then utilize the existing loop
ramp as they do today. The southbound traffic will utilize temporary
asphalt pavement, where they will be able to turn left (south) onto
SH 78 at an intersection where a temporary signal has been installed.
This traffic pattern could last up to five months, or through mid-March.
