In a distant place, in a different time, live the Vox. The once lively, loud, and energetic race live in fear of the Nex. The Nex loathe noise, so the Vox have learned to live without speaking over the generations for fear of provoking the Nex. When one Vox forgets the warnings and laughs out loud, their people find themselves in grave danger. With the Nex on the hunt once again, the Vox must find their voices in order to survive.
