Mock
Legislature is a simulation activity for students to have an opportunity
to
experience what it's like to be part of the parliamentary process.
Students have the
opportunity to debate bills in the same process as done in the House
of Representatives in Austin. Students
join a committee and debate their bills in a small group of around 15
delegates from across the state. If their bill is passed, they then have
the
opportunity to present their bills on the Floor of the House of
Representatives.
