Students VOTE at campus election site!
Students participate in campus-wide election process!
Friday, October 31st: Our Library will become an on-campus Polling location for social studies classes. Students have watched the televised debates. Votes were cast. Students then researched candidates and ballot issues in our computer labs. Some students found that after doing research their votes for governor had remained the same. Others have been surprised that their choice shifted as their awareness of where candidates stand on the issues was more clearly defined.
Democracy in Action here at Jackson.
Don't forget to VOTE in the real election on Nov. 4th! Early Voting ends Oct. 31st.

YOUR Success is OUR Goal
GABE SALAZAR + Jackson Technology = Success!
READY SET go GABE! This website introduces you to Mr. Salazar. Ask the kids what they know after spending the morning with Gabe in the competition gym.
Our 7th and 8th graders will tell you that they LAUGHED and Reflected on life and then, mostly, about having a DREAM.
Mr. Salazar uses life experiences to inspire students to think about such topics as Character Development, Self Image, and Test Prep among others. Students and guests heard stories that will help them relate to their own lives. BIO PAGE for Mr. Salazar.
To you, Gabe Salazar, we say thank you for being a part of Jackson Viking Memories!
