LIBRARY INFORMATION

The NGHS Library's most important function is to support the school's curriculum and to provide interesting and entertaining books for both students and faculty. To achieve these services, the library maintains a basic reference section, biography collection as well as nonfiction and a large fiction collection.

The NGHS Library's main goal is to help students develop a love of reading to carry them through life for not only educational needs but for enjoyment.

Checking out a book

Students are allowed to check out three books at a time. If the student has an overdue book or a fine, the student will not be allowed to check out additional materials until their status is clear. Books may be checked out for a period of ten days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Library Passes

Students are allowed to visit the library before school each morning without a pass. During the school day, students must have a library pass from their teacher, and the student is responsible for stamping in and out of the library.

Fines

A fine of 10 cents per day (excluding weekends and holidays) per book is charged on overdue books and magazines. The maximum charge is $1.00.

Printing Costs

Black and white copies from the copier or the printer are 10 cents for each page. Color copies are 25 cents per page.
