Be A Volunteer at NFHS
Naaman Forest High School encourages parents, guardians, and patrons of our district to become an active part of our campus.
One avenue to become active with our campus is to volunteer your time at Naaman Forest and participate in campus and district committees. The benefits of volunteering at NFHS and other GISD campuses are numerous and beneficial to students, the school, and the community - and we look forward to your participation!
Steps to Becoming a Volunteer in GISD
For the safety of our students, volunteer applicants who will work one-on-one with a student or chaperone an overnight field trip will be subject to a criminal history check.
For volunteers who are subject to a background check: both the Volunteer Application Form and Criminal History Check must be submitted to your campus office to be eligible to volunteer in our schools.
For additional information about the many options where you might choose to volunteer your time, see the GISD Volunteering web page.
