Home of the Blue Ribbon Braves
The Classical Center at Brandenburg’s ALE classes need your help! We would like to take all of our special needs students and a parent to Morgan’s Wonderland this spring. Morgan’s Wonderland is a special needs theme park in San Antonio. Every ride attraction is accessible so no child is left out! Our students do not attend traditional field trips so this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. You can help by sharing our page on social media & e-mail. Thanks for your support!

In second place we have Rosa Nunez with her book trailer for The Fault in Our Stars. Our winning book trailer for Locked in Time was created by Praisy Johnson and will advance to the district competition. Congratulations to all our winners and to everyone who entered!
National Library Week
Brandenburg will host a scavenger hunt for National Library Week. Ms. Jost has gathered information from the teachers and staff and will post signs around the building with information such as a teacher's favorite childhood book, their favorite book of all time, their favorite series, or something else related to books. Students may pick up a form in the library and return it when it's complete. All students who make a 100 will win a free paperback book of their choice.

Brandenburg is going GREEN!
As Brandenburg continues going GREEN, we are now collecting plastic bags! When you turn in 40 (or more) plastics bags, you wil receive a GREEN recycle bag as well as a jeans pass! Bags will be collected by the west door.
The 2013-14 yearbooks are on sale now! The price of the yearbook is $30. You can pick up an order form from Mrs. Greeno (Rm. 22) or you can order them online. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to remember your middle school friends and experiences forever!
Brandenburg encourages parents to feel free to visit or take part in our volunteer program. Volunteer assistance is needed in the clinic, library, learning lab, and classrooms. Volunteers are also need for our sixth grade Enterprise City field trips the week of November 18-22. Filling out a volunteer form does not obligate you to volunteer. There is a strict district deadline and we would like all parents to have the opportunity to participate in the school volunteer program if they wish. Please call the school office or pick up volunteer forms to sign up as a school volunteer.
Spirit shirts and sweat shirts are available for purchase on Thursdays only during lunches. Spirit shirts are $10 and sweat shirts are $20. Spirit dress can be worn every Friday with spirit shirt/sweat shirt and school appropriate jeans. You can also purchase your PE tee & shorts for $25 as well as a draw string bag for $5.
