“HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS”
The 2013 8th Grade Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 25th in the Atrium at the Granville Arts Center from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Parents may attend the presentation of awards beginning at 9:00 p.m. This celebration is for 8th Grade Brandenburg students only. The attire for the evening is “Sunday Best” – no strapless dresses allowed. The cost of this event is $15. Tickets are on sale now.
End-of-Year Field Trips
Every spring, Brandenburg rewards those students that have done a great job with their academics and behavior.
6th graders will take a day trip to Shenaniganz, 7th graders will travel to Amazing Jakes and 8th graders will travel to Six Flags. Each class field trips is scheduled for May 21, 2013.
Eligibility for students to attend: no RAC, no Suspensions, no Library Fines, & no failures for the 5th grading period.
Spirit Wear
Spirit shirts and sweat shirts are available for purchase in the front office. Spirit shirts are $10 and sweat shirts are $15.
Spirit dress can be worn every Friday with spirit shirt/sweat shirt and school appropriate jeans.
Garland ISD Robotics Summer Camp for 8th Graders
Registration is underway for the GISD summer robotics camp to be held June 10-14, 2013. The registration deadline is May 20th.
