Six Flags's Six Hour Reading Club

Students complete six hours of recreational reading and earn a free ticket to Six Flags. This program runs January through the first of March.

Accelerated Reader

Books are assigned a difficulty level and point value based on its complexity and length. Students take a quiz after they complete a book.  Points are awarded after each quiz, depending on the quiz score. For example, if the student scores 100% on a 4 point book, he or she will be awarded 4 points. If he or she scores 80% on a 4 point book, he or she is awarded 3.2 points.  Students earn various awards and prizes for reading to point levels their teacher assigns

Book Fair

We will have a book fair in September and February.
