• Book It – Reading goals are set for the class by the classroom teacher.
  Pizza coupons are awarded for those meeting the class goal.

• Six-Hour Reading Club – Students who read 6 hours between scheduled dates will be awarded a ticket to Six-Flags Over Texas theme park.

• Bluebonnet Award – Third through fifth grade students who read or have read to them five nominated books have the privilege of voting for their favorite book in January.

• Read across America – Guest readers are invited to visit our school to help us celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading to various classes Dr. Seuss’ books.
