Current opportunities
Our Shugart parents, families and friends are some of our greatest school assets, and we need you. We are currently seeking volunteers to help us with arrival each morning from 7:30 - 8:15 and dismissal from 3:15 - 4:00. Volunteers will need to pass a background check which can be filled out using the links at the bottom of this page. Please allow two weeks for the application to be processed. More volunteer opportunities may come available as the year progresses. At times, the PTA and classrooms may be in need of volunteers to count, sort, collect or cut items. If you are interested in volunteering, now or even later in the year, please let us know.
More opportunities
Guest readers are always welcome in our library. We also welcome parents who want to help us shelve books or keep items organized during book fairs. If you are interested, once you have completed a volunteer form in the office, please contact the librarian.
How to volunteer
Apply
Anyone who would like to volunteer must:
- provide a photo ID to the front office
- complete an online application and upload a copy of your photo ID
The online application can be completed at home or the main office of any campus.
What happens next?
- A background check will be performed using the Raptor Volunteer Management System.
- You will receive an email to notify you when you may begin volunteering.
