Seuss and Seeds Day

Seuss and Seeds Day is a celebration of reading and outdoor learning.  Community members visit classrooms to read to the students and encourage lifelong learning.  In the Abbett Patch, volunteers lead lessons on gardening and sustainability.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Abbett Library hosts the Scholastic book fair each fall and spring.  The book fair allows students the opportunity to purchase books at discounted prices and helps raise funds for new library books.

Turkey Trot

Every November, the PE department sponsors the Abbett Turkey Trot which combines charitable giving and fitness.  All students participate in a fun run around Abbett.  Students that donate canned food for the food drive earn official race numbers and compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
