Ace the Aviator proudly stands with Armstrong's name sake, John W. Armstrong. We are the only school in Garland ISD to be named after a former student.

The fourth grading period runs from March 24 to May 23.

May 23 is the last day of school.


Today is the last day of classes. High school students will be released early from school in the afternoon. Staff will stay for staff development.

Teachers, students and staff will enjoy a Memorial Day holiday.


Memorial Day is a federal holiday for mourning and honoring those who lost their lives serving our country through the military.

This day is a student and staff holiday.

May 27 is a staff development day .


Garland ISD staff will come in for a staff development day.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday recognizing the end of slavery in the United States in 1865.

It is also known as "Emancipation Day", "Freedom Day", and "Juneteenth Independence Day".
