Our award winning AAE Jazz Band has been invited to perform at the 76th annual Midwest Band Clinic in Chicago, December 2022.

AAE choir gets top marks at UIL

Treble Girls' Choir, Men's Chorale, and the Acapella Choir all received straight 1s, which is the highest score, on their recent performance at UIL.

7th and 8th grade Pentathlon Teams take 1st and 2nd place overall in the district competition. Our teams walked away with 194 individual medals.

AAE students have multiple opportunities to get involved in clubs and organizations while finding other students with similar interests.

Austin Academy will host our first annual Literacy and Performance Night. Ms. Rider will host a brief meeting with important bond information at 5:45 p.m. Following the meeting, students from AAE will perform their favorite literary excerpts and poems.

Students can sign up to perform that evening with Mrs. Harris. All literary excerpts should be approved by Mrs. Harris prior to performing. 

AAE Cheerleading Tryouts will be held Saturday, April 1 at South Garland High School.
