Can you solve the Case of the Missing Vase?


Work together to investigate a crime using a variety of forensic science techniques. Activities will draw on topics covering physical science, life science, and earth science content.  

Forensics Family Science Night is a two-hour event sponsored by the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.  This event is geared toward upper elementary and middle school audiences. We ask that families not reserve more than five (5) spots for this event. Thank you!

All students are invited to the Winter Dance and Social.  Tickets are $5 before the event or $7 at the door.


AAE Students are invited to the Winter Dance to be held in the AAE gyms.  There will be concessions, dancing, games, photo booth, and face painting.  Some activities will have a small fee required.

Tickets are being sold before school and during lunch for $5.  Students can also purchase tickets at the door for $7.

Everyday school appropriate attire is acceptable.

8th graders to see "A Midsummer Night's Dream".  Money and permission slip due by Feb 21.


Our eighth grade class will be traveling to see the AAE Theater Dept's presentation of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".  Students will ride the bus to the theater and will return before lunch.

Students should turn in permission slips and $10 to their first period teachers by Feb 21.  All students are expected to attend.
