Curbside pick-up

Even for our remote learners, the library is open. Remote learners may request a curbside pick-up for library books. Please fill out the book request form at least 24 hours in advance. Instructions are on the form for what to do when you arrive. 

Pick-up days and times are:

  • Monday 10 - 10:30
  • Monday 2 - 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday 12:30 - 1 p.m. 
  • Thursday 2 - 2:30 p.m. 

myON reading

Every GISD student has access to thousands of digital books and daily news articles through myON. These books and texts can be read on any device such as tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.

myON reading contests

Each month, students are encouraged to read in myON. Students that read a determined amount of minutes each month are entered into a drawing. You can check the Library Canvas course for details and winner announcements each month. 

Monthly library challenge

Each month, students at AAE are encouraged to participate in a library challenge. Directions for the monthly challenges are found in the AAE Library Canvas Course. If students do not have the code for the Canvas Course, they should see Mrs. Harris or their English/Reading teacher.
