Attendance

Attendance at school is important. School attendance is important for academic success and growth. We use school incentives to encourage and motivate students to have perfect attendance.

Awards ceremonies

Back Elementary School holds two awards ceremonies during the school year - one in December fo the middle of the year and another in May for the end of the year. The awards ceremonies recognize outstanding achievements and efforts in our students. The awards ceremonies take place in the cafeteria, and parents and family members are invited to attend. A valid picture ID is required when checking in at the front office.

Birthdays

Students are recognized by name on the school morning announcements for their birthday. When a child's birthday falls on a weekend or holiday, their names are called the school day before to ensure that all students are recognized. Each student is gifted a birthday pencil for their birthday.

Bulldog of the week

Each week, students are chosen from each class to receive recognition for outstanding performance and positive behavior. Students are recognized in the school morning announcements and are invited to participate in our Bulldog Bash at the end of the grading cycle.
