Commissioner Morath visits Back Elementary

In August of 2022, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath visited Back Elementary to recognize the school for our outstanding academic achievement and growth. Commissioner Morath oversees public education in the state of Texas.

Back Elementary jumped from a B rating to an A rating in the state’s academic accountability rating system and earned a perfect six for six on distinction designations. Back Elementary was one of three schools in the state to be recognized this year for high achievement.
