Back Elementary believes that art, music and dance into the student's curriculum is important for critical thinking, enhanced problem-solving, good judgment, and teaching them that there is more than one way to tackle a project. It promotes kindness and acceptance of diversity when the same art piece comes out differently for everyone or music means different things to different people. The arts are a strong motivator in keeping students interested in school.
Mrs. Pollay, Art Teacher. Art Club is available for 5th graders who are interested in learning more about art and participating in advanced projects.
