Beaver Technology Center is a K-5 magnet school with an emphasis on math, science, and technology. All subjects are taught with a heavy emphasis on classroom use of technology and hands-on problem solving. 

Students enjoy the signature programs offered at Beaver Tech. National Elementary Honor Society, SteamSchool, VEX Robotics, and UIL Academic Contests help to enriched learning for all students.

At Beaver, students are engaged in authentic collaboration and problem-solving as they develop real-world skills and habits.

NEHS

As the nation's newest student recognition program, NEHS joins the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and National Honor Society (NHS), the nation's two oldest and largest student recognition programs.

Beaver Tech students have the opportunity to join this prestigious organization which focuses on community service projects and creating a continuum of excellence in leadership roles.

STEAMschool

 STEAMschool takes place during two nine-week cycles. Students choose their top three choices from a catalog of courses and are placed in one elective.

STEAMschool courses cover a wide array of topics that fall under the topics of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Some of our courses include Minecraft, Animation Moviemaking, YouTubers & Jr. Podcasters, World Cultures, Origami, and so much more.

VEX Robotics

Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX Robotics encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving among groups. 

Students become familiar with programming, sensors, and automation. Students also develop critical computational thinking skills needed to succeed in both the 21st century's workforce and in everyday life.
