A Unique Philosophy

Love & Logic is a philosophy used at Beaver MST. Love & Logic focuses on building positive, respectful relationships between adults and children and using mistakes, or problems, as opportunities for personal growth. This approach teaches children to be responsible and prepares them for life in the real world. 

Visitors to our building often comment on the warm culture and climate we have at Beaver MST. They notice smiling teachers, happy students, and an overall sense of positivity throughout our building. While many things contribute to making Beaver MST the outstanding campus it is, the use of Love & Logic is an essential component to cultivating the positive learning environment on our campus.

Our library also has many Love & Logic books, CDs, and DVDs. These are available for parents to check out. We have resources for all ages of children, from preschoolers all the way up to high schoolers. Come check them out!

Parent University Night

Beaver MST parents participated in a night full of Love & Logic learning at our first Parent University Night of the school year! Our night focused on practical tools and techniques for fostering healthy relationships between parents and children. Parents learned the two rules of Love & Logic, how to stay COOL in hot parenting situations, building responsibility in their students, and how to connect their discipline style with the Love & Logic philosophy at Beaver MST. Parents received a Love & Logic book to take home at the end of the night.
