Welcome Bradfield Cowboys to the 2024-2025 School Year!
Dear Bradfield Cowboys,
I am honored and excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! As many of you know, I have had the privilege of serving as the assistant principal here at Bradfield for the past 5 years. During that time, I have come to deeply appreciate the warmth, dedication, and spirit of our students, families and staff. It is with great enthusiasm that I step into this role, continuing our shared mission of excellence in education. For those of you that are new to Bradfield, I am originally from McAllen, TX and I am the mother of two young children: Hannah (4) and Will (2). This is my 18th year in education, 14 of which have been in Garland ISD.
First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your unwavering support and trust. This community has been my professional home for the past five years, and I am committed to fostering the strong relationships we have built over the years. I am excited to work collaboratively with all of you, to ensure that Bradfield Elementary remains a place where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired.
As we transition in this new chapter, I am eager to build on the solid foundation with the help of our new assistant principal, Lee Formaggini. As many of you are aware, Mr. Formaggini joined Bradfield’s family last year as a curriculum support teacher, so he has already built relationships with our students, staff and community. Our focus will continue to be on providing a safe, inclusive and academically rigorous environment for all students.
As the new principal of Bradfield, I plan to support students not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I believe that every student has potential, and realize we are not just preparing them for the next grade level, but for the future. I am looking forward to collaborating with the students, staff, and community of Bradfield Elementary. I believe in open communication between the school and the community, so please feel free to contact me with any celebrations, suggestions or concerns you may have. It is exciting to think about all that we will achieve by working together! Go Bradfield Cowboys!
Sincerely,
Patricia Kehoe, Principal Bradfield Elementary
Assistant Principal-Lee Formaggini
Dear Bradfield Family,
It is with great excitement that I write this letter as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of our beloved Bradfield Elementary. It is my honor to be selected to serve this community yet another year. I am looking forward to bringing my skills as an educational leader to Bradfield to work with you as we partner to assure that students have the tools they need to be successful each day and in their future endeavors as well.
As we begin this next part of our journey together, I wanted to share a little bit about myself and my instructional experience. I have been married to my amazing wife, Morgana, for seven years. We have an energetic five year old boy that fills our lives with joy and love. My ten years instructional experience consists of six years as a self-contained first grade dual language teacher, three years in fourth and fifth grade as an RLA dual language teacher, and most recently, an Instructional Support Teacher. I have spent my years in education working towards mastering my craft as an instructional leader. I have a passion for helping people improve and it is truly my calling to help students, their families, and our teachers reach their highest levels of success.
As I step into this role, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future of our school community. I am eager to continue the collaboration with each of you to build upon the strong foundation of achievement and innovation that has been established in recent years. Together, we will continue to uphold the standards of excellence that define Bradfield Elementary, ensuring that every student receives the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff for your hard work and dedication throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Your passion for education and unwavering commitment to our students have truly made a difference in their lives, and I am honored to be part of such a dedicated team.
As we look ahead to the future, let us embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead with enthusiasm and determination. Together, we will continue to create a positive and nurturing learning environment where every student can reach their full potential.
Thank you for your warm welcome and support as I begin this new chapter at Bradfield. I am excited to embark on this journey together and to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Sincerely,
Lee Formaggini, Assistant Principal Bradfield Elementary
