Welcome Bradfield Cowboys to the 2025-2026 School Year!

Dear Bradfield Families,

As we prepare for another exciting school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for the incredible support, patience, and partnership you have shown throughout my first year as principal. It has truly been an honor to lead Bradfield Elementary, and I could not be more proud of what we have accomplished together.

This past year was filled with growth, celebration, and community. From launching new instructional practices to building strong classroom connections, we made tremendous strides. I’m especially proud of our staff's dedication to meeting every child where they are and helping them reach their fullest potential through small group instruction and targeted support. Every student matters, and every child can grow—and we are committed to making that happen every single day.

This year marks my 19th year in education and my 15th year proudly serving in Garland ISD. I live in Garland with my husband, Mike, and our two children—Hannah (5) and Will (3). As both an educator and a parent in this community, I am deeply dedicated to the success of our schools and families. Garland is home, and I consider it a privilege to give back to the community that has given me so much.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our families. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for your patience during this year of transition, and for your unwavering encouragement. Your involvement makes Bradfield such a special place.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue the work we have started. Mr. Formaggini and I are honored to return as your administrative team and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and academically rich environment for all students. We also look forward to growing our PTA and strengthening the school-home connection. Your support truly enhances every aspect of our school, and we can’t wait to partner with you even more this year.

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and Cowboy pride. Go Cowboys!

With gratitude,
Patricia Kehoe

Assistant Principal-Lee Formaggini

Dear Bradfield Family,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of our beloved Bradfield Elementary. It is my honor to be selected to serve this community yet another year. I am looking forward to bringing my skills as an educational leader to Bradfield to work with you as we partner to assure that students have the tools they need to be successful each day and in their future endeavors as well.

As we begin this next part of our journey together, I wanted to share a little bit about myself and my instructional experience. I have been married to my amazing wife, Morgana, for seven years. We have an energetic five year old boy that fills our lives with joy and love. My ten years instructional experience consists of six years as a self-contained first grade dual language teacher, three years in fourth and fifth grade as an RLA dual language teacher, and most recently, an Instructional Support Teacher. I have spent my years in education working towards mastering my craft as an instructional leader. I have a passion for helping people improve and it is truly my calling to help students, their families, and our teachers reach their highest levels of success.

As I step into this role, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future of our school community. I am eager to continue the collaboration with each of you to build upon the strong foundation of achievement and innovation that has been established in recent years. Together, we will continue to uphold the standards of excellence that define Bradfield Elementary, ensuring that every student receives the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff for your hard work and dedication throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Your passion for education and unwavering commitment to our students have truly made a difference in their lives, and I am honored to be part of such a dedicated team.

As we look ahead to the future, let us embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead with enthusiasm and determination. Together, we will continue to create a positive and nurturing learning environment where every student can reach their full potential.

Thank you for your warm welcome and support as I begin this new chapter at Bradfield. I am excited to embark on this journey together and to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Sincerely,

Lee Formaggini, Assistant Principal Bradfield Elementary
