Counseling
Meet Ms. Green
Welcome to Bradfield Elementary. My name is Rasheda Green. As School Counselor, I work with our students on a proactive and preventive guidance program, while assisting our families with resources and support. I am also our campus engagement coordinator so I will be sharing parent workshop information and organizing volunteer opportunities during the year.
Throughout the year, lessons, assemblies, and activities are provided focusing on academic achievement and personal/social growth. The lessons include:
- Character Education
- College/Career Awareness
- Social Skill Development
- Anti-Victimization
- Saying No to Drugs
Small group, individual, and crisis counseling is also available for students in need. Counseling topics may include:
- Academic concerns-such as test anxiety, lack of motivation
- Behavior issues-such as anger management, hyperactivity in class
- Personal struggles-such as parental divorce, loss of a loved one, family dilemmas, increasing self-esteem
