Brandenburg is proud to offer a wide variety of programs to all of our students.
Student Council helps share students' ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and principals. They also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects and school reform. Student Council meets every other Friday at 8 a.m. in the choir room. Anyone can join, but they must be eligible (passing all subjects and no major discipline problems) to participate in activities.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
FCA/Bible Study allows students to come together and learn about Biblical principles. The organization is student lead and is dedicated to promoting values such as integrity, service and teamwork. Any student may come and join us for food, fellowship and fun!
Art Studio is dedicated to offering students an opportunity to fulfill their individual creative goals.
Junior Light Brigade (Just Say No Club)
Brandenburg is dedicated to the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse. Students focus on learning to make healthy choices in all aspects of life by participating in activities such as video production, skits, role play, writing, art and Red Ribbon Week.
Join the theater club to participate in the annual school play and see what goes on "behind the scenes", like working on sets, costumes, lighting, sound and makeup.
The Tennis Club is a competitive club that meets after school on Mondays from 4-5:30 p.m. Tryouts are held in late September and are open to any student (6th-8th grade).
"Sew" Much Love
"Sew" Much Love is a sewing group that uses their time to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Through learning basic sewing skills, students construct dresses, shorts and teddy bears that are taken through missionary groups to children worldwide. To date, there are bears and garments in 12 countries across the globe! Sign ups happen once in the fall and once in the spring, and anyone is eligible to join at no cost. We meet each Monday after school in Room 38 until 5 p.m.
