As athletes at Bussey, we represent the best; therefore we expect only the best. The example set in the halls, classrooms, and community is a reflection of our program. We are role models for everyone around us.

Respect will be shown to all coaches and others in authority including teachers. This respect should extend to teammates, other students, and our opponent.

Boys athletics

Boys tryout for athletics is held several weeks before the beginning of the sport season begins. Sports offered at Bussey are football, basketball, track, and soccer. You can contact Coach Sigears, Coach Allen, Coach Dunham, or Coach Tate with questions about boys athletics.

Girls athletics

Girls tryout for athletics is held several weeks before the beginning of the sport season begins.. Sports offered at Bussey are volleyball, basketball, track, and soccer. Contact Coach Hall, Coach Coleman, or Coach Carter with questions about girls athletics. 

Game tickets

Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students. District employees get in free with their badge.

Clear Bag Policy

To help ensure a safe and respectful environment for guests, Garland ISD has put into effect a Clear Bag Policy for all GISD middle and high school athletic events and fine arts performances.

Be a Garland ISD VIP
