Caldwell Principal and assistant principal

Welcome to Caldwell Elementary!

Principal

Victoria Sanchez-Acevedo, Caldwell Principal

Hello Caldwell Family!

It is my honor to be a part of the amazing Caldwell learning team and family! One of my core beliefs is that together as a team, we each contribute and collaborate towards the success of all students. Our school will work hard to provide engaging learning that inspires and challenges all learners. Together, we will ensure students have opportunities to grow, learn and reach their full potential.

Serving in Garland ISD over the past 16 years has afforded me many opportunities to work with amazing students, parents, and effective, passionate, hard-working teachers. During that time I served as  the Early College and P-Tech principal, assistant principal and classroom teacher. I earned a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education in English Language Arts from Sul Ross State University and Master in Educational Leadership from Texas A & M Commerce.

Our mission and goal is to have a unified and shared vision to prepare all students as they take on their educational journey.  We look forward to continuing our partnership with parents and community members; we are here to serve and grow together in the education of our GISD students.  Together we will achieve excellence!

It is my pleasure to serve as your Caldwell Elementary  principal!

Believe to Achieve,

Victoria Sanchez

Officer Granado

I am Officer Granado.  I am a Garland Police Officer of 26 years. I’ve worked in the School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit for the past 14 years.  I really enjoy my job.  I serve 3 functions as an SRO: Educator, Counselor, and Law Enforcement Officer.  I mainly teach classes to our students on a wide range of topics including laws, drugs, alcohol, bullying, gangs, 911, etc.  I share school security with our school administrators, GISD Security, students, parents, and our community.  I like candy, bacon, chocolate, steak, and candy.  I am available to parents and community.  I am assigned to 5 schools so the best way to contact me is regranad@garlandisd.net or just leave a message with the school office.
