Family Science Night was an exciting and memorable event, bringing together students, families, and staff for an evening full of discovery and fun. This year’s event featured special guests from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, who transformed the space into a superhero-themed science experience.
Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on stations that uncovered the science behind some of their favorite superpowers. From testing out “super strength” through force and motion activities to learning how invisibility can be created using light and refraction, each station offered an engaging way to connect science concepts to real-world phenomena. One of the highlights of the night was the X-ray vision station, where students discovered how imaging technology allows us to see inside objects—just like a superhero.
Families moved from station to station, asking questions, experimenting, and learning together. The excitement was evident as students eagerly shared their discoveries and made connections between science and everyday life.
Overall, Family Science Night was a huge success, sparking curiosity and inspiring a love of learning in all who attended. A big thank you goes out to the Perot Museum team, staff, and families for making the night truly super!
