Parent Responsibilities
- I will know what my child should learn and know at grade level and how I, as a parent, can help my child learn.
- I will communicate regularly with my child ' s teacher in order to know how my child is doing, including checking the online grade book (Skyward).
- I will make sure my child attends school on time and ready to learn.
- I will inform the teacher if my child is having difficulty with homework or is having difficulty in school.
- I will attend parent conferences, PTA meetings, and parent education workshops.
- I will create a home environment that is safe for my child.
- I will be an active parent/guardian and volunteer in my child's class or at my child's school.

Student Responsibilities
- I will come to school on time with a positive attitude, ready to learn and try my best every day.
- I will complete my classwork and do my best in all of my work.
- I will follow the dress code policy.
- I will come to school prepared with supplies, books, and homework.
- I will attend after-school tutoring when requested.
- I will have respect and show respect for my principal, teachers, school staff members, and other students.
- I will care for and take pride in Caldwell Elementary School.

Schoolteacher Responsibilities
- We will provide a high-quality curriculum and research-based instructional practice to equip students to be successful both academically and for life.
- We will create a learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and nurtured in order for healthy student-to-student relationships and healthy teacher-to-student relationships exist.
- We will communicate with parent/guardian regularly in a way that encourages open communication between parents and the school.
- We will create and challenge all students to learn at a rigorous, high level of thinking and make connections with learning to real-world applications.
- Seek resources and assistance for a child who is struggling with learning or having difficulty in school.
