Literacy for life
Literacy for Life is a district initiative and community-wide partnership designed to foster the literacy needs of students. Along with the tri-cities of Garland, Rowlett and Sachse, we are working to create a community of readers.
In the Carver library, students are encouraged to READ as well as to create, build, invent, make, explore, and discover. Using a range of materials & devices, our students are showcasing their creativity and STEAM skills.
Did you know that your child (& you) have access to thousands of books for free through myON? This incredible online resource launched at the end of last school year. Community access and student login details can be found on the myON instructional resource page. Reach out to Mrs. Duke, our campus librarian, for more information.
