Birthday celebrations

Parents,

If you want to bring food to the school to celebrate your child's birthday, please know per district guidelines, in accordance with Lauren’s Law,  the food must be "prepackaged, individually portioned, store-bought items with the ingredients clearly labeled." The acceptable food items may only be given to students after all lunch periods have come to an end and during the last 20 minutes of the school day. Food made at home will not be distributed to students at school. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Please help us connect with you.

If you have not heard from your teacher, we may not have your updated information. Please fill out this FORM so we can reach out to you about your students assignments, grades, and attendance.

Veteran's Day program

On Friday, November 8th, Centerville's Music Teacher Amy Crone conducted a musical program for Veteran's Day, featuring our 4th and 5th graders as performers. Kudos to Ms. Crone and our student singers for a job well done! Thank you to all of the Veterans who have served our country. Below are pictured 2nd grade teacher Mendy Kiser's father, and our own Counselor Ms. Oliva, both veterans.

Grandparent's Day

In support of Grandparent's Day, we invited grandparents to come along and enjoy a copy of coffee and a pastry in the cafeteria with their students on Thursday, September 5th. We had a great morning with our Centerville community.

Coffee with the Counselor

Our counselor, Oliva Tarkington, is starting this program this year. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to get information and help. The topics and times for these meetings are open for requests. A flyer that was recently sent home with students offers a variety of times, days and topics to request for these meetings. Mrs. Tarkington will set the days, times, and topics based upon the answers that she receives when these forms are returned. Please fill out the form and return with your student to request a meeting.
