Principal
It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I serve as the principal of Cisneros Pre Kindergarten School. I am deeply committed to our school community's mission of nurturing our children in a high-quality learning environment.
My journey in education began in my home country of Colombia, and I have been an educator since 1998. I find immense joy in being a principal, as it allows me to empower teachers as leaders while staying closely connected to the incredible learning and growth happening in our classrooms every day. I firmly believe that every child has the potential to excel, and that a strong partnership between home and school is essential in building the confidence students need to shape their own futures.
My goal is to continue Cisneros Pre Kindergarten School's tradition of excellence. I am constantly exploring innovative ways to meet the unique needs of all our students within this special place "Where Little People Do Big Things!"
I welcome input from all stakeholders, so please feel free to email, call, or stop by anytime. Let's continue to keep our students at the heart of everything we do!
Assistant Principal
Howdy Cubby Nation!!! After 23 years, on a journey filled with excitement and a variety of twists and turns, I AM elated to become a member of such an extraordinary community. I have served at the elementary, middle school, high school and district levels, but it feels wonderful to return to Early Childhood Education… where the foundation is built.
I was born and raised not far from U.T. in Austin, but a trip down Highway 6-- to College Station-- made me forever an Aggie Girl! After graduation, the teaching bug and my love of tiny humans drew me to education. Prior to becoming a cubby, I held roles as a classroom teacher, grade level chair, cheer coach, mentor teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, a district early learning instructional specialist and a specialist in the Office of Racial Equity.
I have a genuine passion for early childhood, lifelong learning and servant leadership. I hope to continue to grow and “Do Big Things” within my new community of co-workers, parents and “littles”. When I’m not working toward my many goals, you will find me enjoying: the love of my life, my close family and friends, good music and yummy food.
