Academics

Is your student college ready?

For the best chance of making your visions of success a reality, preparing for your student's future has to start much earlier than graduation. GISD believes that "college and career readiness" begins in prekindergarten and encompasses a strong academic foundation including all aspects of the GISD Portrait of a Graduate. At Cisneros we have a College Day every month to let our students know that going to college is an important goal in life.

Cisneros Families are Encouraged to Use Imagine Learning at Home

Cisneros Pre- K would like for all of their cubbies to use Imagine Learning Literacy and Math at home.  Parents these two programs are in both English and Spanish and aligned with what skills your child is learning in Pre K.   By using these two programs at home with your child you will be reinforcing what they are learning at school.   If you need more information regarding how to use these programs at home please come to the Cisneros Library and speak with the Librarian Kim Megahan.
