Cisneros students learn and celebrate diversity through different activities.  We teach and celebrate the following cultures and traditions of Hispanic Heritage, USA history, Asian History, and  Black History.  During these celebrations, our students perform in a special program and parade.  They are also encouraged to dress up for these occasions.  

Cisneros enjoys a wonderful Christmas performance given yearly by the Watson Honor choir in December. They sing several fun holiday songs for our little ones and they are incredible! It's a nice time to see how past Cisneros students who are in the Choir have grown.

Our Cubbies participated in various 100 day activities.  They were encouraged to make a 100 day t-shirt.  Then the whole school participated in a 100th day of school parade.  

During our annual Spring Carnival, we love seeing our parents and students having a great time enjoying games, food, and pictures with Cubby.  

Our students have a wonderful time with their grandparents and even some great grandparents. Every year the grandparents join their grandchild to create a family project together.  

On Tuesdays our school participates in future awareness by wearing a college, career, or military shirt. Show the future is bright and participate in our AVID Tuesdays.

After each six weeks, our school holds award assemblies to recognize our Cisneros Cubbies and their accomplishments. Our awards assemblies are held in your child's classroom and families are encouraged to join us. 

During Red Ribbon Week at Cisneros we make sure our Cubbies live healthy and make the right choices saying no to drugs. Throughout this week we have an array activities and themed days to participate in such as SOCK it to drugs or TEAM up against drugs. We love seeing our cubbies pledging to stay drug free. Check out our monthly calendar

The students participate in a graduation ceremony were they get to wear a cap and gown and walk the stage to receive their preschool diploma for all their accomplishments at Cisneros.
