STEM school

Our school is in the process of transitioning to a new school model, where we are changing from Club Hill Elementary to Club Hill STEM Elementary, one of GISD’s Innovative Schools of Choice

For the 2022-23 school year, all incoming PreK, kindergarten and first grade students are automatically part of our new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) school model. This transition is a phased-in process that adds a new grade level each year.  For example, in 2023-24 students in PK-2nd will be part of the STEM school.

Students in the STEM school have opportunities for hands-on learning and to participate in enrichment programs to explore various STEM challenges and activities.

Social emotional learning is a key component of the STEM school where students focus on values that will help shape their future: communication skills, collaboration, and problem-solving.

The STEM school provides students with a strong foundation to enter the modern 21st century workplace. Students that graduate from a STEM program are innovative, critical thinkers, able to apply the skills learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Our goal at Club Hill STEM is to prepare students for future successes, empowering and developing them at an early age to graduate ready for college, careers, and life in a global economy.

Club Hill staff proud of our STEM program.
