Arts
At Club Hill STEM Elementary, we believe in nurturing the whole child, which is why we offer both music and art programs that inspire creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking. Our students have the opportunity to explore the world of sound through music, developing skills in rhythm, melody, and performance. In the art room, they dive into visual expression, learning techniques to bring their ideas to life. Both programs play a vital role in our commitment to providing a well-rounded education, fostering a love of the arts, and encouraging students to think outside the box as they grow as creators and innovators.

Music

I’m Joseph Garza, a trombonist and music educator based in the vibrant Dallas–Fort Worth area. I hold a bachelor's degree in Trombone Performance from Texas A&M University–Commerce and a master's in jazz studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
As a performer, I’ve established myself in a variety of professional ensembles, showcasing versatility and a deep commitment to artistic growth. Now, as I enter a new chapter as an elementary music teacher, I bring the same passion, creativity, and dedication to the classroom—fostering a love of music in the next generation through engaging, inclusive, and culturally rich instruction.
I’m also incredibly excited to join the Club Hill STEM Elementary family. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a community that values creativity, innovation, and the growth of young minds. I look forward to contributing to such a supportive and dynamic environment, where I can help inspire a lifelong love of music and learning in the students.
