Physical education
PE dress code
-
Plain white T-shirt, Coyle Spirit shirt, or college/military shirt
-
Plain black or grey shorts (knee length for both females and males)
-
Plain black or grey sweatpants or joggers
-
Plain black tights/leggings (must wear shorts over tights)
-
Can also wear school clothes, but highly discouraged due to physical activity and hygiene concerns. **Failure to be in dress code for PE will result in being sent to change back into their school clothes and continue to participate in activities for the day in their school clothes.
Locker room policy
-
Only those who are dressing out for the class period are allowed in the locker rooms, all other students will not enter the locker rooms and must use the restroom on their way to class similar to their other class periods for the day.
-
Locker rooms will be locked 5-10 minutes after the bell rings and reopened 5-10 minutes at the end of class.
-
Absolutely no horse play in the locker rooms. Students CAN have their locker room privileges revoked if issues arise.
-
ZERO cell phone tolerance during the PE period and in the locker rooms. School cell phone policy and discipline will follow if violated.
-
All students using the locker rooms MUST have a combination lock to bring each day to lock up their belongings in the locker rooms while participating in class. Coaches are not responsible for any lost/stolen items if the student did not lock their belongings in a locked locker. Students must take their belongings with them to and from class each day, we do not have enough lockers to assign an individual locker to all PE students for the entire day, only for the students designated class time.
